Jeree Menning P.T.,OCS, CSCS Owner / Physical Therapist

Jeree grew up in Sioux City, IA attending Sioux City East High where she was a 3x All-State softball player and standout athlete in Basketball and Volleyball.  She attended Morningside College in Sioux City and graduated with a Bachelor's in Science with a Biology Major and Double Minor in Chemistry and Psychology.  While at Morningside she was named a 1st Team Academic All-American and NCAA/NSCA Div II 1st Team All American softball player and completed in the 1996 Olympic Softball team Trials.

After Morningside, she attended Mayo Clinic Program in Physical Therapy in Rochester, MN and obtained a Master's in Physical Therapy in 1998.  Jeree started her initial career at the Nebraska Medical Center, and in 2003 accepted a position working in aquatics and outpatient Orthopedics at the newly built Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital (NOH) which is now OrthoNebraska.  She worked 11 years for NOH and during that time was certified in Aquatics, obtained her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialization (CSCS) and passed her  National Board Certification in Orthopaedics (OCS). Only 2% of Physical Therapists Nationwide have a OCS certification and there is only one other OCS certified therapist in Fremont.  She was an integral part of the softball/baseball Perfect Pitch rehab program seeing both softball and baseball players throughout the Omaha area treating various sports injuries with an emphasis on shoulders.  She also has continuing education instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization of Graston Technique, Kinesiotaping, and Dry Needling.

In 2013, Jeree and her husband John moved to Fremont from Gretna for career and family changes and have been excited to be a part of the Fremont Community.  From 2014 - 2017 after moving to Fremont,  Jeree changed job positions closer to home to begin to treat patients in the Fremont area as an outpatient therapist at Nye Legacy working in aquatics, orthopaedics and treating Parkinsons patients.  While at Nye Legacy,  she obtained her LSVT Big Certification and also specializes in treating Parkinsons patients.

Jeree continues to have a passion for treating orthopedic patients of all ages,  and her vision has been to create a facility that integrates multiple areas of specialty therapy services with addition of wellness facility as a continuum of care in an outcome based and cost efficient model for all patients.

Jeree and her husband John have 3 active boys involved in various activities and sports at Fremont Public Schools and are members at First Lutheran Church.   Jeree, John, Keegan, Tyas and Nolan enjoy multiple sports and active outdoor lifestyle which includes fishing and watersports as a past-time.

 

Victor Wolff  P.T., DPT - Staff Physical Therapist

Victor is a native of Blair, Nebraska. He attended Blair Community Schools and graduated from Blair High School in 2008. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from University of Nebraska at Omaha. He furthered his education at Creighton University, graduating with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He has since practiced in Omaha where he worked primarily in outpatient orthopedics, but also spends time in the inpatient setting treating patients after joint replacement surgery and with various diagnoses, including acute inpatient rehabilitation.

He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Orthopedics Section, and the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association.  He is excited to return to a small-town setting and join Fremont Therapy & Wellness to help expand treatment of orthopedic injuries with a focus on local sports and athletes.  Outside of work, Victor enjoys spending time with his wife, Alaina, and their three children, as well as their extended family. He enjoys physical activity and the outdoors, is an avid baseball and college football fan, and maintains an active role in the community.  Victor joined Fremont Therapy in April of 2018.

 

Jon Ringblom P.T.A- Staff Physical Therapist Assistant

Jon Ringblom PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

Jon grew up in Omaha, NE attending Millard North High School where he was named to the All-Metro baseball team and honorable mention All-State as a senior. He has had a passion for outpatient PT stemming from a dislocated wrist as a freshman in High School and fell in love with the profession while attending PT for recovery. Jon has also recovered from Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in 2010 and a rotator cuff tear repair in 2015 stemming from many years throwing a baseball. Jon continues to have a passion for baseball and is looking forward to reaching out to community leagues to help with screenings and any lessons as needed to help local players excel in their sport. Jon has also completed LSVT Big training and received a certification to work with Parkinsons patients.  Jon lives in Fremont with his dog, Griffey (Australian Shepherd).  He is an avid Kansas City Royals baseball fan and also enjoys attending Nebraska Huskers Football & Volleyball games, as well as many local concerts.  Jon also likes to travel and hopes to get to all 50 states and travel overseas as soon as possible. Jon joined Fremont Therapy & Wellness in Oct. 2017.

Degree: Bachelors Exercise Science: Human Performance with a minor in Coaching- Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA Accomplishments: Named a First Team All-Conference Pitcher as a junior and as a senior in 2014, named IIAC Conference Pitcher of the year, Central Region Pitcher of the Year, and 2nd Team All-American while helping lead BVU to a school record 37 wins and trip to the Regional Tournament.

Ashley Sass OTR/L, CPAM -Occupational Therapist - Pelvic Rehab Therapist

Ashley Sass OTR/L, CPAM

Ashely is a well established, local clinician with 9 years of experience.  She attended College of Saint Mary for undergraduate and graduate and completed her Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2009.  She began her work career in Fremont in a skilled nursing facility with an outpatient.  She has worked inpatient and outpatient therapy focusing on treating diagnoses including but not limited to stroke, Parkinson’s, dementia, and shoulder, elbow, and hand rehabilitation.

The past 2 years in her career, she has geared her furthering education, clinical expertise and specialization to pelvic floor muscle dysfunction for both women and men. She joins Fremont Therapy & Wellness to establish a Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation & Incontinence Program as well as provide Occupational Therapy services for orthopedic & neurologic patients.  Ashley is also LSVT Big Certified to work with Parkinsons patients.

In addition, Fremont Therapy & Wellness has developed a specialized, separate treatment area where she can privately treat and specialize in pelvic floor therapy, including treatment of urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic and abdominal pain, constipation, urinary dysfunction, and pain during and after pregnancy. Treatment intervention of pelvic floor muscle dysfunction is noninvasive, specialized for each individual patient, and uses visual Biofeedback therapy technology for best results. Ashley joined Fremont Therapy & Wellness in March of 2018 as the first Occupational Therapist.

Ashley is a native of Lindsay, Ne and loves the small town connection of Fremont, NE.  She lives in Arlington with her husband and 2 children. She has a true passion to offer a variety of Occupational Therapy services to patients in the Fremont area to help them keep moving forward and reach the highest level of independence possible.
