Jeree Menning

PT, OCS, CSCS – Physical Therapist/Clinic Owner

Jeree grew up in Sioux City, IA and attended Sioux City East, where she was a 3x All-State softball player and standout athlete in Basketball and Volleyball. She attended Undergraduate at Morningside University in Sioux City, where she was an NCAA Div 2 – 1st Team Academic All-American and 1st Team All-American softball pitcher, setting 2 NCAA Strikeout records and competing in the 1996 Olympic Softball team trials.

She attended Mayo Clinic Program in Physical Therapy in Rochester, MN. Jeree also has completed her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialization (CSCS) and passed her National Board Certification in Orthopaedics (OCS). She has been a PT for over 28 years and still enjoys treating a variety of patients with her preference in post-op orthopedics. She spent 11 years of her early career in orthopedics at OrthoNebraska prior to their family moving to Fremont.

Jeree and her husband, John, moved to Fremont in 2013. In 2017, Jeree decided to open Fremont Therapy & Wellness as she realized there was a need in Fremont for some of the techniques and equipment she had utilized working in Omaha. Her vision has been to create a facility that integrates multiple areas of specialty therapy services and the best equipment in Fremont to provide patients with optimal outcomes. In 2022, Fremont Therapy & Wellness purchased a small clinic on Main Street in Hooper, NE, to continue to provide therapy to Hooper, Scribner and the surrounding area.

In 2024, Fremont Therapy & Wellness purchased its own large 9000-square-foot building. Many older Fremont Residents know as the old “Medicine Chest” or “Kelly’s IGA Grocery”. This is the private clinic therapy space in the Fremont area to help maximize what can be done for patients.

Jeree and her husband, John, have 3 children who have gone through sports and activities at Fremont Public Schools, and they are active members at First Lutheran Church. As Fremont Therapy & Wellness continues to develop, Jeree and the staff continue to focus on areas of therapy needs as well as the continued specialization of therapists. In 2023, we hired a staff member fluent in Spanish and English to assist therapists and patients with translation services and currently have 2 staff members who can assist with this population.

Whitney Dam

PT, DPT – Lead Physical Therapist

Whitney is originally from Fairbury, Nebraska. She attended undergraduate at UNL and completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota. Whitney has a variety of therapy experience including outpatient orthopedics, home health and geriatrics. She has received additional training in functional dry needling, pelvic health and LSVT BIG. In 2024 after returning from her most recent maternity leave Whitney began to devote more of her caseload to Pelvic Health and pre and post-baby care due to her experiences and additional education. She has a passion for helping mom’s get their “body back.” She lives on a farm outside of Hooper with her husband and 3 children.


Jamie Larsen

PT, DPT – Physical Therapist

Jamie grew up on a farm in Wahoo, Nebraska. She attended Nebraska Wesleyan University for Exercise Science. In college she participating in cross country and track & field. Jamie completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Briar Cliff University. Since graduating PT school, Jamie has continued to be an avid runner completing her first Marathon in 2024. She also has helped coach distance track & field at the high school level at Fremont High.Jamie has a passion for treating patients across the lifespan with an emphasis on spine, orthopedics and sports medicine with runners.


Jordan Dredge

DPT – Physical Therapist

Jordan is from Fremont, Nebraska and graduated from Fremont Senior High School where he participated in Basketball and Golf. He then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at The University of Nebraska – Lincoln and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. Jordan has a passion for the utilization and implementation of technology with physical therapy treatments and is the clinic “guru” with sports and performance testing. He has interests in treating post-op orthopedics, geriatrics, and sports medicine. Jordan has a passion to help individuals of all ages achieve their goals during their time in physical therapy. He particularly enjoys using our VALD technology to help patients see and set goals for improvements in strength and performance.


Gavin Hamilton-Davis

DPT – Physical Therapist

Gavin is from Omaha, NE and attended Central High School. He still enjoys playing pick-up basketball and can be found working out in the gym. He completed his undergrad degree in exercise science at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and attended PT school at Rockhurst University. Gavin’s curiosity and passion for physical therapy stemmed from his injury history with sports and truly wanting to understand how our complex body functions and works. He has a true passion for rehabbing and optimizing sport performance for athletes who are dealing with knee injuries and is also very fluent in using technology for testing and therapy treatments. However, he also enjoys working with any individual dealing with pain and truly providing a movement based and exercise specific plan to improve quality of life and get them back to doing the things they love again at a high level.


Christian Keays

DPT – Physical Therapist

Christian grew up in Omaha and Yutan, Nebraska, and he graduated from Yutan High School. He attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Community Health & Wellness. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Christian has clinical experience working with a variety of outpatient orthopedic patient types, including post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, and collegiate athletes. His favorite parts of being a physical therapist include building lasting personal connections with his patients and empowering them to do the activities they love.


Larissa Michaelis

PT – Physical Therapist – Hooper Location

Larissa grew up in Great Bend, Kansas. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and attended Texas Woman’s University-Houston for physical therapy school. Larissa worked several years in pediatric physical therapy in the Kansas City area before moving back to her hometown and working in a variety of rural healthcare settings over the next 10 years. Larissa and her family moved to Omaha in 2019.

Larissa is married to Mike and they have 3 children – Wyatt (17), Will (16), and Molly (13), and 2 dogs. All three kids (and Mike) compete in mountain bike racing so Larissa spends a lot of her time cheering them on and volunteering for the Nebraska Interscholastic Cycling League. She occasionally does her own biking, preferring gravel riding with a group of friends. Larissa also enjoys working in her yard, reading, cooking, and joining her college friends on their annual “girls trips”.

Larissa is at our Hooper location 2 days a week and loves working in a small town again, enjoying the sense of community that it brings.


Jordan Peatrowsky

PTA – Physical Therapist Assistant

Jordan grew up in West Point, Nebraska and attended UNO completing a degree in Exercise Science and worked for a period with athletes with strength and conditioning before going to Clarkson College earning his Physical Therapist Assistant degree. His passion for physical therapy comes from when his grandma broke her back when he was younger and going to appointments with her until she was healthy enough to go out and play with him again. His small town background provides a special connection with our patients in the Hooper clinic. His special interests are working with athletes and progressing back to strength and conditioning post injury and surgery, seniors with balance and reconditioning issues, and giving back to the community that he grew up around. Jordan is primarily located at our Hooper Clinic.


JoDee Horacek

PTA – Physical Therapist Assistant

JoDee grew up in Omaha, NE. She completed her PTA degree at Western lowa Tech in Sioux City IA. JoDee has experience working in skilled nursing, home health care, orthopedic and traumatic brain injury patients. She enjoys working with a variety of patients and watching their rehab and recovery to improve their daily lives. JoDee is part-time in our Fremont clinic helping when therapists are off and also seeing a large portion of our Aquatic therapy patients as her interest and experience lies in that area. She also is particularly great with seniors due to her previous background experience. JoDee resides with her husband and 5 children in Blair, NE.


Ashley Sass

OTR/L, CPAM – Occupational Therapist – Pelvic Rehab Therapist

Ashley Sass OTR/L, CPAM – Lead Occupational Therapist – Pelvic Health Therapist Ashley is a native of Lindsay, Ne and loves the small town connection of Fremont, NE. She attended College of Saint Mary for undergraduate and graduate degrees. She has spent most of her career in Fremont in inpatient and outpatient therapy focusing on treating diagnoses including but not limited to stroke, Parkinson’s, dementia, and shoulder, elbow, and hand rehabilitation.

The past 13 years in her career, AAshley has focused her clinical expertise and specialization to pelvic floor muscle dysfunction of both bladder and bowel for both women and men and has completed several specialist courses in this area. Since joining Fremont Therapy & Wellness in 2018, she has established a Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation & Incontinence program and also works closely in this area with another therapist – Whitney Dam DPT.

Pelvic Floor therapy includes treatment of urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic and abdominal pain, constipation, urinary dysfunction, treatments for patients post prostate cancer and pain and pelvic floor issues during and after pregnancy. Treatment intervention of pelvic floor muscle dysfunction is noninvasive, specialized for each individual patient. Ashley utilizes visual Biofeedback therapy technology for best results. Ashley lives in Arlington with her husband Mark and 2 children and is a Member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington, NE.


Diana Laubscher

OTR/L, CLT – Occupational Therapist – Lymphedema Therapist

Diana grew up in Katy Texas, but calls Valley, NE her home. She graduated from College of Saint Mary with her Masters In Occupational Therapy. Diana has worked in inpatient, outpatient, home health, and specialty hospitals throughout Iowa and Nebraska. In 2017, Diana completed a specialty certification in the treatment of Lymphedema (CLT) from the Norton School, and has worked with a variety of patients including post cancer, surgical, wounds, and congenital lymphedema. Her primary caseload of patients are Lymphedema patients.

Diana also sees patients for occupational therapy for Parkinson’s and has completed the PWR program. She also compliments our physical therapist with treating any patients that need OT and PT for daily functional activities and cognitive testing. Diana lives outside of Valley and her husband Brandon and two children and enjoys spending time outside especially in the summer.


Rene Schnoor

Office Coordinator

Rene started with Fremont Therapy & Wellness in 2019 as our front desk receptionist and as the clinic has grown, she has transitioned to office coordinator and manages billing, patient insurance benefits coordination, HR tasks, as well as many day to day office activities. If patients have questions regarding insurance or billing, Rene is often easily accessible to help give patients the answer or guide them in the right direction. Rene is originally from Fremont and attended Fremont High School and lives in Synder with her husband Tony and 3 children.


Shannon Marshall

Lead Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator

Shannon grew up between Fremont, NE and Kennewick, WA. She graduated from Southridge High School in Kennewick. Shannon moved back to Fremont in 2013 from Jacksonville, NC after her husband finished serving in the Marine Corps. Her career spans many areas but all have focused on customer service in some form and her positivity and friendliness flourish in her position. She lives in Fremont with her husband, Chad, her stepson, and their newest family member a German Shepherd.
